Why this merger

How to use it

Drop two or more PDFs onto the box above (or click it to pick files — you can add more at any time). Reorder them with the arrows; the files merge top-to-bottom in the order shown. Click Merge, then download the combined file as merged.pdf. Everything stays on your device from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF merger really free?

Yes. No account, no trial, no watermark on the merged file, and no limit on how many PDFs you can combine.

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. The files are combined by code running inside your browser on your own device — you can confirm in your browser’s network inspector that nothing is sent while merging. When you close the tab, nothing remains anywhere.

Can I control the order of the merged pages?

The files are merged top-to-bottom in the order shown in the list. Use the arrows next to each file to reorder before merging, and the ✕ to remove one.

Does merging reduce quality or change my documents?

No. Pages are copied into the new file exactly as they are — nothing is re-rendered, recompressed, or watermarked. Text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.

Is there a limit on file size or number of files?

No hard limit. Because the work happens on your device, you are limited only by your browser’s memory — combining dozens of ordinary PDFs is no problem on a typical laptop.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. If one of your files is encrypted, remove its password first (any PDF viewer that can open the file can usually re-save it without one), then merge.
