Fill a PDF form

Free, instant, and private. The form's fields appear right here, you fill them, and the PDF is completed entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded anywhere.

Why this form filler

How to use it

Drop a PDF form onto the box above (or click it to pick a file). Every fillable field appears below it — type into the text boxes, tick the checkboxes, pick from the dropdowns. Leave Flatten ticked to lock your answers in for submission, or untick it to keep the form editable. Click Fill PDF and download the completed form. Everything stays on your device from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF form filler really free?

Yes. No account, no trial, no watermark, and no limit on forms or fields.

Are the form or my answers uploaded anywhere?

No — and with forms this matters most of all, because what goes into them is names, addresses, IDs, salaries. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device; you can confirm in the network inspector that nothing is sent.

Which forms does it work with?

PDFs with real, interactive form fields (AcroForms) — the kind where your PDF viewer shows clickable boxes. Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns are supported. A scanned paper form is a picture of a form — it has no fields to fill; the tool will tell you so.

What does “flatten” mean?

Flattening converts the filled values into fixed page content, so recipients see exactly what you entered but can no longer change it — the right choice when submitting. Untick it to keep the fields editable, e.g. for a draft you will finish later.

Does filling change the rest of the document?

No. Pages, text, and layout stay exactly as they are — only the field values change (and, if you flatten, become part of the page).

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not directly — remove the password first with the Unlock tool (also on this site, also entirely in your browser), then fill.
